Cassie is still waiting for a loving home!

Please if you know anyone who is looking for a really sweet, easy dog that would make a loving companion have them take a look at this girl. The shelter that she is housed at is in Woodland Ca. It is the Yolo co shelter. Cassie has taken witness to at least two dog fights that broke out due improper fencing at the shelter. The dog fights and yelling from staff that broke up the fights have left her very weary at the shelter. She was not involved in any of the fights however has been spooked by them.

She is now afraid of the outside runs as this is where the fights have taken place. two dogs in the last month have been put to sleep and several dogs hurt as a result of the shelter not keeping dogs safe by placing them in unsecured runs and placing multiple dogs in runs with no supervision.

If you live in Yolo Co Ca please visit the shelter and make a list of changes you note as being unhealthy for the dogs house there. This is OUR shelter and we the public need to oversee the conditions and treatment of these animals. We need to be their voice.

Cassie really needs our help!

Please if you can spare one hour of your time to go and write to the sheriff department on your findings. It is outragious that the shelter is not holding themselves to the same standards of care they hold the public to.
